Invisalign treatment for girl child

Healthier Straightening

One of the biggest challenges with adolescent patients in braces is maintaining impeccable hygiene. Without proper brushing, teeth can develop permanent white spots around their braces. Because there are no wires or braces to get in the way with Invisalign, it is easy for your child to keep their teeth spotless and healthy. Since the clears aligners are removed to eat and drink, unhealthy sugars and acids do not hang around nearly as long as they would with braces.

Invisalign for teen improved self esteem

Improved Self Esteem

Research shows that parents can underestimate the extent to which teens feel self-conscious about crooked teeth, and using braces as a solution can often make this lack of confidence even worse. But with Invisalign Teen, no one needs to know your teen is straightening their teeth, removing a potential source of real anxiety for them, improving motivation during treatment, and giving them the confidence to be themselves in front of everyone.

FAQ

How will I know if my child is actually wearing their aligners as often as they should?

It is very easy for your orthodontist to verify whether your child is wearing the aligners properly and we will communicate this to you at your visits.

What if they lose their Invisalign aligners?

We know accidents happen and if a clear aligner is misplaced, let us know, but don’t sweat it. We can always rescan the teeth and order new aligners, but often times the next aligner in the series can fit if they are being worn well.

What if they don’t have time to brush their teeth at school?

In a pinch you can rinse your mouth out with water to remove stuck food and rinse your aligners off with water before putting them in. This is not a replacement for brushing, but it can help your child out in a bind. If you would like a doctors note so they can brush we can certainly help.

Does it cost more than braces?

Invisalign Teen actually costs the same as traditional braces.

Can they wear their Invisalign during sports?

Yes. In fact this is recommended. We can provide a special mouthguard to fit over the Invisalign to provide extra protection for the teeth during sports.

What if my Teen doesn’t wear their aligners?

Teenage patients who want to avoid braces make some of the most compliant patients, but if for whatever reason the aligners are not being worn, don’t worry, we will provide a no fee transition to braces.
