Nominate a Student Athlete to Win $1,000 Off Orthodontic Treatment

Supporting our local student athletes with a boost toward their best smile and brightest future.

At Hatcher & Frey Orthodontics we believe confidence fuels performance, both on and off the field. We’re proud to honor local high school athletes who show heart, teamwork, leadership, and dedication to their sport and community.

This April, we’re giving one hardworking student athlete $1,000 off NEW orthodontic treatment to help them feel even more confident when they smile, compete, and represent their school.

Who Can be Nominated

Nominate a current high school student athlete living in the Hampton Roads area who:

  • Has competed in a school sport during the current academic year (2025-2026)
  • Demonstrates leadership, resilience, and teamwork
  • Inspires teammates and peers with their positive attitude
  • Has a passion for their sport and community impact

They do not need to be patients of our practice to enter.

How It Works

1. Fill Out the Nomination Form

Tell us:

  • Student’s name, school, and sport
  • Why this athlete stands out
  • A meaningful story that captures their dedication

The more thoughtful your nomination, the better! (Think personal growth, community spirit, work ethic, etc.)

2. Spread the Word

Share with friends, family, and fans so they can cheer your nominee on or add a nominee of their own!

3. Winner Announced in Early May

We’ll celebrate the winner on our website and social channels—sharing their story with our community.

What the Winner Gets

$1,000 toward NEW orthodontic treatment, including:

  • Invisalign Clear Aligners
  • Custom Braces

This award supports an incredible student athlete by investing in their confidence, self-belief, and personal growth.

Do they need to be our patient? 
No! Anyone in the community can be nominated.

Can students nominate themselves? 
Yes, self-nominations are welcomed.

Rules & Regulations

  • Nominations open April 1 and close April 30 at 11:59 PM Eastern time. Entries submitted after this deadline will not be considered. Nominees must be current high school student athletes residing within Hampton Roads.
  • The $1,000 award applies exclusively to NEW orthodontic treatment at any Hatcher & Frey location. The award may be applied toward braces or Invisalign.
  • The award has no cash value, cannot be transferred, and may not be combined with certain other promotional offers.
  • The winner must complete a complimentary consultation to determine treatment eligibility prior to applying the award. Treatment recommendations are at the discretion of the orthodontist.
  • The winner will be selected based on nomination responses highlighting leadership, character, dedication, and community impact. The decision of the selection panel is final.
  • The winner will be contacted directly and publicly announced on our social media platforms.
