We’re excited to announce that Dr. Greg Hutchins’ practice in West Ghent Norfolk is now part of Hatcher & Frey Orthodontics. Dr. Hutchins will continue to be a key part of our team, and we’re grateful for his partnership and commitment to great orthodontics.

A born and bred Virginia native, Dr. Gregory Hutchins graduated from Western Branch High School in Chesapeake, VA in 1973. Following graduation, he achieved an undergraduate degree from Old Dominion University. With a passion to pursue higher education, he was accepted to the Medical College of Virginia where he completed both his Dental and Orthodontic training.

After practicing for 18 years on Tyre Neck Road in Portsmouth, VA, Dr. Hutchins uprooted to serve as teaching faculty at the University of Memphis in Tennessee where he taught graduate orthodontics to students and provided case mentorship to orthodontists pursuing board certification.

In 2004, Dr. Hutchins returned to the West Ghent area of Norfolk, where he still lives and practices Orthodontics today. Between his travels to explore the beautiful mountains of New Hampshire, he enjoys spending time in the kitchen cooking up fresh herbs and vegetables from his garden and hunting down antique treasures with his wife, Lauren.
